Is it being done using charcoal on an open fire?

Do we need firewood?
There's often wood on site, but I'll be bringing some. Saturday evening *meal* for whoever wants some will be on charcoals for ease, but there's always the rest of the weekend and the fire pit.

If folk are interested in chipping in, I'd be happy to do another one-pot for Saturday/Sunday lunch:

- 1kg onions
- 2kg carrots
- 1 thingy celery
- 4 large leeks
- a dozen chicken thighs or more
- two cups red/yellow lentils
- two cups rice
- lots of spices/etc

Also rhubarb crumble is a favourite of mine

- lots of rhubarb
- bag of apples
- museli/granola
- flour
- butter
- honey/sugar
- custard

Hi

We're bringing the.vino and seasonings (bay leaves, boquet garni etc) but we wont be there until 3.00 on sat at the earliest.

Will anyone be passing anywhere near Falkirk on the Fri night and be able to take them up for us? I suspect Matt will need them earlier than three.

Alternatively would anyone be willing to buy these and we will reimburse you when we get there?

Looking forward to seeing you all again.

Sara.

I've done in my ankle, so other than possibly a trip to Ice Factor with the kid, I'll be happy to knock around camp and cook for folk. :D

Sara - I'll bring along bits and bobs to cover cooking if you think you might be late up. (Thanks for offering to bring the stuff!!) If we end up with two bottles of wine, that's not the end of the world!!! :D

Fine for oil - Halfords was doing 5L fully-synth for £10 so I loaded up.
