Look forward to seeing you there
I've handed the remaining slots back to the campsite now, so you will have to book direct. This shouldn't be a problem though.
They'll keep us all together, though, right?

Hi
Just phoned the site, no problem with space and we can pay when we arrive - yipee I love the view from the beach at this site.
Matt if you fancy taking in a hill with Donald, I can look after Tom with my two. They're looking forward to playing with him

Liathach and An Teallach are the best two Munros near Gairloch. I would go for An Teallach unless you have two Bongos or you are going to have a long walk along the road back to your vehicle like I had years ago. Me I am going for a masterclass on trout fishing with Donald (Brorabongo). That's if he can remember what to do.

In return, I offer to cook for the four of you one night.

Thomas likes his butteries - what's with the Aberdeen ones? I'm guessing they're good!

Mmm.... campfire-baked Stornoway black pudding in an Aberdeen buttery!

Gordon - didn't expect anything less than a reply from you, haha. Should put you on a standing order of them!

Sorry to be an ignorant English person but what is an Aberdeen buttery?
Up for trying it though if you can fit any more in. Could do swapsies for Derbyshire oatcakes

University of Wikipedia to the rescue:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rowie (may need to open link in a new window)
If memory serves correct they were originally baked for fishermen to take to sea as the high fat content

meant that they lasted a long time without going off. IMHO Aitkens in Torry produce the closest to the original. Great warmed with melted butter however you wouldn't want to eat too many of them
I've had Staffordshire oatcakes before. Great with cheese and bacon.

If you still fancy any even after reading about their high fat content, I can easy add your name to the order list
