Bongo Fury

Ady, is Northern Bongolow on here, and his favourite breaker seems to be these people http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/bongobits4u2012/ no personal experience, yet but others seem to be quite pleased with what they have acquired!

At some point the front heater matrix may have been replaced/fixed & the flap assembly has been bundled back together the wrong way round....?

What you maybe looking at in the picture might not be a broken spigot bit, but the bit that sits in the hole the other side..?? I guess you wont know for sure until the heater housing is taken apart..... http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c ... mgno=.html

I have seen a similar hash made on the rear heater flap where it was stuck on hot & i had to turn the flap over to get it to function properly!!!

In which case there should be a spindle sticking out the other side with a flat on it .....

Gents,thanks again for the good advice. I shall check whether it is in the wrong way round. Still more concerned I can't seem to operate the flap manually which means its jammed somehow.
I spoke to the guy at bongo bits for u and he looked at one whilst I explained the situation and he reckoned the dash needed to come out to get at the heater box!

I wouldn't disagree with you there Geoff... Looking at the drawing its hard to tell.. I never had the front heater housing apart... If it has just sheered off..?? I would have thought the servo would have give up before the spindle broke, if the flap had jammed??

Yup it wouldn't be the servo that snapped it! My thought was a foot but I can't quite see how, or maybe it was replaced with a damaged one previously ... who knows...
