LATE REPLY...

Oh yes, you are quite right!

A news flash though... Life caught up to me these last few weeks and I've back burnered the whole repair.

It is a little discouraging because I blew away my X-mas holidays fiddling around building the FIP.

Lately, I have been courting Bell Hill Garage for some spare parts. I managed a used FIP complete with a TPS on it. By the time I receive it here though, it is a few hundred quid!!! :(

They also have a spare ECU, and then a bunch of cosmetic items like interior trim panels, glass, etc. that I should bring over as well.

I am fairly confident that the HOLD light will be resolved when the spare TPS is installed and adjusted. [-o< [-o< [-o< but no real way of being assured until I do this. Again, a few hundred quid before I know.

The other thing that disturbs me still is the cold start and running at idle. Remember, I had TWO original issues namely, the leaking FIP [now resolved!] and the poor rough idle/stalling during warm up IMMEDIATELY after a normal start. I checked the Glows and Relay are new and okay. This issue preceeded the leaking. I originally thought the two were connected. But now that the pump is fixed, the start/stalling warm up still presists.

any other ideas?
