The field is a field too. Not as flat as The Golden Swan. No facilities either unless you count the taps!
No probs letting me know nearer the time. There's loads of room ...

The good news for everyone attending this meet. I have booked Madam Lurcher into kennels for the weekend. So peace all round. Even if the deer are not around the campsite, a dog bred to hunt is not a good idea.
Probably still on the law books that bringing a lurcher near the kings deer is a one way trip to Australia or Tyburn Tree
Although given how cold it is today a ticket to OZ could be appreciated

That's a classic video, but the dog causing all the chaos is a labrador

. The guide dog of the blind and helper of the disabled. Trainable and obedient.
Now imagine a lurcher, the traditional companion of poachers and other lowlifes. Bloody minded, independent and cunning, with the hunting ability of a cruise missile. She also has the abilities of Houdini around leads, collars, harnesses and tie out cables. A way with locks as well. Muz's barbeque tongs will never be the same after she locked herself and my keys in the Bongo on the Gower last summer.
Both of them are beautiful dogs and wonderful pets but not let loose in a deer park. The best place for her that weekend is not at Eastnor rehersing for the sequel

Anyone know if they allow BBQs or above ground/enclosed fires?
Thinking of bringing our Ozpig, but won't bother if we can't use it.
