I wired mine upto the SB and in conjunction with the Willinton kit it charges both at the same time

As for entry into the battery compartment you can use the big rubber grommet or there is a white plastic cover at the rear of the bulkhead which can be used

I have an Aldi charger .... hard wired in..... same outputs and specs as the usual Ctek ones that Bongo'ers buy.... I have mine wired to the LB and it charges the SB also via the Willinton....
After a 4 day LB use....on my 110Ah LB of Fridge and TV/Chargers......it took 18hrs to "top up" charge up at home..... 3.6A output on the Aldi... does the job for me.....and at £12.99....

My flashing lights on the comfort CTEK connector go from green to amber very quickly also.

I've decided amber is "normal" as I've just fitted a brand new leisure battery and within a day of a full charge it's moved to amber.

I saw on the CTEK website amber is nothing to worry about but I would like it to stay green longer just for my piece of mind! It's too sensitive to a minor voltage drop it seems.

However, I haven't hard wired one under the bonnet because, as far as I can see, they need a button pressing sequence to start the charging process - or, have I got this wrong and they just need mains input to get going?

Nope, you got it right. They need motivation from a human being to get them going, just press the right buttons...........
