Well as I haven't posted for a few days and it works great. Had a few problems with the led lamps that I fitted, now removed and replaced with standard ones.
I have also found the CC great as I can now make a cup of tea whilst driving down the road.

My CC doesn't make the tea, how do you make it do that then?

I think that you need a t-piece adaptor.

Hmm yachts often have an "autohelm" - wonder if we could get one on a bongo... that with the CC would mean you could go and have a lie down.

Has anybody fitted a Mazda CC unit from another Mazda?? say a 626 or similar?
As for the comments about brakes lol, since when do you need brakes with cruise control! someone must have no idea about planning ahead & anticipation, instead they must be the same person that "suddently reacts" when they come up behind a lorry thats been doing 56mph for the past hour in the inside lane

Just a quick update.
I have fitted all of the relevent parts for my Audiovox system and have to say a BIG thank you for all of your replies and to Simon for his fact sheet.
However on a run to Wales this week it didn't kick in and so I suspect that I need to have a play with the switches in the actuator. If I still do not get it working I may be putting up a second post appealling to the other Audiovox users as to their settings.

hi guys
i just fitted a Audiovox CCS 100
got it working and all mechical stuff works well.
On test drive after a few minutes the engine dies and the Coil light and the HOLD light flash amber.
this can be reset by shutting off the engine.
The blue wire is put to neg and the engine went down
The blue wire was put to GND and the engine went down
so now i have left the wire off and the engine went down
have i an engine problem, ? what does the flashing Coil heater light mean with the hold light.
i rang audiovox and they said use the magnetic kit on back Axel and remove the grey wire from the VSS blue/white
there must be a simple explanation to this ??? ANYONE KNOW
P.S could i be robbing some vacum from the area before the airfilter causing the error, ( what is the error ?)

If you unplug the control unit does the fault go away? I've fitted the Waeco unit, but have no knowledge of the Audiovox unit, but assume it is a similar setup.

Had it out today, changed constant 12v wire to the battery so known good supply. Put the blue wire with noise suppressor , up to the RPM as is says in trouble shooter guide.
The vacum was put on a more constant supply nearer the vac pump.
Took it for a drive and it drove for over 5 miles at 60mph working very good.
Just as I was returning home with big smile, as it came to neutral cruise on down hill the power went with the Coil and Hold lights flashing!
WHY DOES THE HEATHER coil & HOLD light flash intermittent on the bongo leaving it in limp mode ????
This all resets on switch off and restart?
Ps what goes down after driving perfect for 5-6 miles at various speed

The lights are used to indicate that the two computers are reporting faults.
The Hold light indicates that the Gearbox has a problem.
The Glowplug light indicates that the ECU has an engine problem.
Use the Factsheets in the members area to read out the error codes and then you can see what has failed.
