Absolutely amazing pics! I did The Italian Job mini run to Trento in North Italy a couple of times many years ago traveling in convoy and it took me right back. Glad to hear that the Bongos behaved.
One question, the red and white boards on the back boxes, I guess these are compulsory in some countries, can you tell me which? Let me take a shot - Switzerland?

Italy, didn't realise until a few days before we went, luckily Autovan services in Wimbourne had one in stock.

but not on our own [not brave enough] maybe with some others one day. We run on LPG ,did you notice how much a litre it is over the channel by any chance

.Cheers Izzy
Wasn't taking too much notice, but I think between .50 -.70 Eoros a litre, don't remember seeing a vast amount of filling stations with it, especially once you get a bit off the beaten track.
There was a small town in Belgium that had about 12 filling stations along the same stretch of road in a line, wierd or what

definitely worth filling up with diesel in Belgium & Luxembourg at .81 Euros a litre

Stunning! You're making us all green with envy!
Thanks for sharing your pics - they are all wonderful ...and inspiring - I dare not show hubby - he would love to do something similar - we've managed Germany but that was a tour of racetracks!

and we toured Scotland last year - two weeks just wasn't long enough - work always seems to get in the way - we need more holiday time, I think you'd agree

It was very tempting to do a quick detour for a quick lap around the Nurburgring, I think we passed within about 20 kms

Next time mebe

We did a couple of laps - it was so funny to see the other drivers faces as we rocked up in the bongo - laden with full camping equipment, me, hubby and our two kids!
I was too chicken to drive, as I hadn't long passed my test, plus you have to know what you're doing because you have to get off the racing line if something faster is behind you
It was fantastic - you must add it to your 'to-do' list
