Surprizing it misted up just the windscreen.. But that's what happened!

Hmmmm (again!). I agree, its hard to see how that could affect the windscreen. But - I have had a degree of general misting, come to think of it. I'll have a grovel around at t'weekend. No loss of coolant also makes it unlikely I suppose, and there has anyway been general comment on Bongos misting up. I wonder if being mid engined could contribute. It is possible to consider that air being pulled in from outside lacks the advantage of passing over a hot engine compartment before being pulled indoors. All sounds a bit far fetched as a theory though I must admit.

Aldi are knocking out a dehumidifier for about £30 mike, might be an idea to see how much fluid it pulls out of your bongo, and then see if the misting is cured?
I'd be willing to chip in and then partake in a "see how much water can be pulled from a bongo over a set amount of time" experiment

It's an interesting thought, as it's quite possible that is the issue. But being honest, its a minor problem (we're not talking serious persistent stuff here - heater + aircon soon clears it) and I'm a tight wad who wants loads of other stuff first like Airlift spring supporters, Willinton heavy duty split charger, new beefy leisure battery, DBO videopic thing etc etc first and have to keep saying No No to myself
