myself and rooster will be there again this year .. we had a good time last year even though he was busy working with dbo hopfully he will have time to relax this year :) :) :)

You can go with Trev and Dave Lewis in the I-used-to-own-a-Bongo section of the field (which will be near the all night rave tent, a long way from the bogs) :lol:

Morning from a snowy Derbyshire--thanks for the welcome i received yesterday--looking forward to the Bongo Bash 2009--a few questions if you don't mind--what's on the sight eg--showers toilets--shop pub etc; ive seen somewhere that theres fishing on the river is it easy access--has anyone out there fished it- is it worth bringing our rods & tackle also being new to Bongo's & campsites--what's a split hookup???
in fact anything to do with the Bongo Bash would be much appreciated

Also, fishing is reasonably easy access and, last year, cost was £3 for the whole stay - didn't catch many fish though :(

Hi all,
Looking forward to Stourport bash. There is lots of good fishing around our area. Maver Larford always featured in fishing mag’s is about 20mins drive from the campsite lots of other pools in the area. Good canal fishing also about. The River around is also good including Bridge Norh 3/4 hour away. Bewdly and a very nice place in Arley. So bring your rods and get the women off to Merry Hill shopping (3/4 Hr)and you get the day fishing. Fishing in Stourport itself is very hit and miss but where there’s water there’s fish. Catching them is the fun bit.
