Problems with mine and damp always started first time, this morning after being stood three days not sparking at all lifted the seat and engine leads etc covered in condensation got back to it tonight and started first time!

Sounds like you may need new HT leads. I leave mine for a couple of weeks sometimes and don't get that issue.

one of my leads is not well i know for sure because it fell apart when i took it off, it still fires but

so im on a set of leads

Can recommend a damp prevention spray we use called "Duck oil" manufactured by swarfega works a treat when spayed on ht leads,dizzy caps(inside n out)coils etc and stays oily longer than wd40
can also be used all over the bongo making all the black and grey plastic look nice and shiny plus spay it on the roof and boot dampers to stop the whining.
