Hi!
Sorry about introducing some confusion a few days ago - put it down to an age related weakness.
Can I suggest for a day meet now or later the following:
Snibston Discovery Park near Coalville North West of Leicester.
http://www.leics.gov.uk/museums/snibston
or
Crich Tramway Village outside Matlock
http://www.tramway.co.uk/
We would like to join in the fun almost anytime except the weekend 29th/30th November.

Hi,
We have been to Crich Many many times, but a bit too far for us on a day meet. We also have a few people with dogs to consider. So many places you can't take them.
We are leaving it a bit late now and I cant do 7th. We will however get it sorted. I,m sure.
cheers anna

hi,
thanks to `not so old`doing a great job of making enquiries about possible bongo friendly locations,it looks like it could be sunday 30th november for a day meet if anyone`s interested?somewhere around stratford/warwick or somewhere like that should be good,so if anyone can make that date/general location,it`d be great, the more the merrier.we were thinking about a stopover from the saturday, but that depends on location and who wants to do it.
please let us know.
thanks
sharon

Hi again Sharon,
You are very welcome and I am still checking, but due to the season and dogs allowed it is difficult. I will however persevere to find it. unless of course someone comes up with a better location first. If as we discussed, all else fails I think Dodwell caravan site for anyone who wants to stay over £17 for 2 people per night with electric + £1 each children over 4 tel- 01789 204957 Yes its expensive, but it's stratford! Must check that they will take just one night though. The close on 30/11/2008(Only campsite option)about 8 miles from stratford.
Sunday parking at swans nest Lane (by park and river adjacent to shakespear theatre)
Options- Lunch, Butterfly and jungle farm, riverside walking, playground for children ,picnic if in the unlikelyhood it is warm enough. shopping etc. Car parking is about £1 1hr £3 4hrs £4.50 10hrs according to web. Street map showing parking
http://www.stratford-upon-avon.co.uk/soamapl.htm.
Hope some more will join us- looking forward to it and meeting you all
Cheers Anna
