Just got this off the shelf in my garage (and, no I don't work for Halfords):
"Halfords
Silicone Lubricant"
"For Rubber and Plastics"
"Ideal for use on weather strips, mouldings, trim, rubber door and window seals, etc."
(it's in an aerosol can)
Reckon that's what you need - and I'll put it on our Bongo roof after it arrives next week. Can't wait!!!
Have used it for similar jobs for years, and it does do the job well.
