Back from a very enjoyable few days with a great bunch of established and new members.
We were pretty lucky with the weather, with rain on Wednesday and today, but lovely in between. Just a pity it was such a long drive home - took me nearly 40 minutes

What make is the unusual army green large side awning by the way. Looks interesting, and is it quick to erect and compact to stow?

It's one of the Oz-Tent range - we watched it go up and it looked a bit of a faff - but didn't take up much space when collapsed. Looks pretty big as well.

Thanks Muz - I wondered if it might be one of theirs (Oz Tent). An interestingly different looking awning.

Got home save and sound.
Thanks to Bongo Towers for organising a very enjoyable few days and lovely fish'n'chips on Saturday night. Nice to see old friends again and meet new people.
Looking forward now to the South West Fest in September.
Lovely photos, as usual, Muzorewa.

Thoroughly enjoyed the site, the company, the weather and the fish and chips.
Our thanks to all who made it happen.
Got back home with a rattling roof tent, another job, another day.

You were lucky, it took me 50 minutes
( If you exclude the time we took diverting to see Steve at Outback Autos to pick up another fuel filter
Just In Case! and also have a great lunch at the Dabbling Duck in Great Massingham).
Had a great time, met some great people - It was our first but definitely not last Bongo meet.
Heather - you did the right thing deciding to go on Sunday not only did you miss the heavy traffic on the A1 on Monday but also you had a dry awning to pack (unlike most of the Monday departees).
Thanks for the pictures Muz - I left my camera at home.

Roseanne and I would like to thank everyone for making this meet so enjoyable. It was great meeting old faces and meeting new like minded Bongo enthusiast. It was well worth the effort and drive from Cornwall. We arrived home on Thursday afternoon without incident, good ole faithful Bongo. Thanks to all who enjoyed looking at my Bongo and the kind comments you made. It makes me think all that polishng and bling is worth while.
We hope to see you at a Bongo bash somewhere soon,
Dave and Roseanne
PS thanks Muz for the fab pix
