Buy a TM-2 digital gauge that will do the job properly.

Yeah saw your request, I am sorting the prob with the wire loom, when it's done I'll post on your post details, but without the Mazda gauge not much point

Finally it's cured
the new sensor did'nt, but bought a gauge on E-bay from trekie and it's now workin fine. I now have a second hand workin temp sensor for sale

Hey TGP you know thats good advice
The new one(sensor) was £37
from Bongo bits, I just got a complete set of brake pads for that money, brings it home dun'it, I'm sure it was supposed to be £27 when I phoned up,no pasa nada
