Mike you posted whilst I was writing my response.
The problem I refer to is related to the charge characteristics of leisure batteries and the need for a charger that is able to modify it's output to match those characteristics during the charge cycle.
Just to clarify the point I made about not being able to fully charge your leisure battery is not in response to your question.is a possibility that the split charge relay (or whatever) may not recognize the full capacity of a battery that is of higher Ah rating than the starter battery?
