Hope you don't think i was ignoring you all, just got my broadband back on after moving.
Nice to meet you all and i had a laugh on Friday night.
On sauturday i was having a few probs with my awning falling apart in the wind and before i knew it about 10 people turned up and we were able to pack up all my gear and the awning in about 10 minutes. The rain was so bad tht everyone got soaked through to the undercrackers. Thankyou all very much, your actions have saved my awning without a doubt. Thanks for the hot coffee before i got off, it was needed.
Sorry i left you all to it but i needed all of the next day to dry and repack everything before going back to work on Monday.
Thanks to Harry for organising everything and the half dozen that were left in the marquee at the end of Friday night.
Someone commented that I wouldn't ever come all the way up there again, after the welcome, the company and everybody mucking in, try and stop me. Will see you all soon.

There's no slumming it involved matie.
I heard that darn sarf that they are really weird.
They apparently eat outside (they calls em patio bbq's) and they go to the toilet INSIDE the house.
I think them southerners have got it the wrong way round, don't you?

It official. Last saturdays weather was actually the remnants of 'tropical storm Laura', so the local paper tells me (must be true then). A tropical storm is a type of tropical cyclone with wind speeds of at least 39mph. Saturdays stormy conditions were caused as the remains of Laura - in the form of hot, humid tropical air - clashed with the cold air over the atlantic.
Ahh so there you have it - we have survived a tropical storm well - the remnants anyway.

i did come to the bbq remember i was sat next to you , (only because there was no other chairs )

........dont remember owt from that night really ,i only remember bits and bats when i saw the photos, couldnt even remember that Chris and Liz was there and i was talking to them ..............eh well i think one of you bongoers must have tried to date rape me, and spiked my bottle of stella with sumat

it was probably spiked with alcohol ,thats what is normally in stella.

Well my poor gary!s drink was spiked with white lightning good job myself and loui!s were there to get him home safe and sound. Few that was close good job we had the donkey with us lolxxxx
