The rest of the bongoers on this forum must be realy envious of the northwest/yorkshire meets, WE DO KNOW HOW TO ORGANISE A MEET AND HAVE A GOOD TIME .as my favourite band Queen would say,
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS.
Lost without my Bongo.

What a top weekend! I've never camped so late in the season before but after this we would definitely do it again! :D

Thanks to everyone, as already posted by others, especially Jackie and Paul. Three cheers!

And only as so many asked:

Yes we will be back with children another time, we were only joking about leaving them at the zoo!! :?

Yes, I would like to inflict a bit of my singing on you all another time, but it got a bit too late last night.... I really did only get up to thank Jackie and give her the wine and chocs, lol

.Hi Everyone!,

Didn't we have a wonderful time at Winsford. Well organised, nice site and great company. The entertainment by Mike and his mate was excellent - he must have been rehearsing hard since Wirral, his repertoire was greatly extended. How did they manage to sing continuously for two hours? Betty and I turned in and fell asleep to the pleasant wafting sound of the music.

By the way did I get to meet Gina? we should have made ourselves known to each other - perhaps at Silverdale which we hope to attend.

Congratulations to everyone who helped make it a really good meet.

Best Wishes,

Betty & Walter.

As Daveblueozzie has said, it really shows how you Northerners like to enjoy yourselves, am really peeved that we are not closer and could come and join in with you, will make a point of trying to do so in the future. One thing that gets me about the photos, is the SMILES, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and this shows, so carry on bongoing and keep SMILING. All the best from Ginge in Essex.
Don't worry, be happy

as an afterthough does the person who had the fire-pit/ barbeque with lid over in the barbeque area remember where they got it i thought it would be easy to find on the web but no luck so far and that fire looked like a real plus now that winter,s here.
