Great organisation by Harry. Lots of folk told us they were delayed on the M4. We had a horrendous delay at Ingleton, the town was grid-locked due to an accident which delayed us for about an hour. Our forecast told us that winds would be about 25 mph. In the morning we were told that they had been on average 50mph. Not wanting to damage our kit we decided to pack up and leave - a shame because we really wanted to meet the folks who attended. But as it turned out it was as well as we met a problem when we arrived home.
Anyway thanks to Harry and everyone we talked to who made us feel at home.

Hello there!
Just a quick note to say a big thanks to all the friendly Bongo owners we met today who showed us round their bongos (and even let Sue drive one!) and gave us lots of useful advice and food for thought.
Hopefully next time we see you all we will be driving a Bongo of our own!
Nigel and Sue

Back safely (and a lot quicker than the Sat nav said
)
Thanks to all who made a "foreigner" welcome
- pity I couldn't bring any of the Eastern Counties weather with me (and next time I'll make sure I pack wellies
), but It could have been worse. Let's hope the site is available for future meets

Thanks to all who made a "foreigner" welcome

Thanks so much to all the people we met on our first meet that made us feel so so welcome. Shame about the weather as had it not been so gusty I think we would have spoken to a lot more people, but there's always next time.
Big thanks to Harry for organising the meet, Pete for organising Go Ape (awesome) and DaveBlueOzzie for the advice and all the time he spent pimping my Bongo this morning - the white dials look superb - have just been out again in the dark to have another look!
See you all soon

Thanks Harry for organising the fantastic weather

must admit Ive never seen rain traveling at 90mph horizontally before
,it did kinda brighten up later on the Saturday and as usual Sunday when all are going home its blazing sunshine and not a drop of wind.
Thanks to all for chatting to me, and those who i didn't get round to having a chat to ,your very lucky
A big thanks to Dabs for letting me look after him and his dogs in my caravan
but he did cook me a smashing breakfast.
As usual the bongo kids were well behaved ,well mannered and a credit to their parents.(well most of the parents
)
