Bongo Fury

im suprised more people dint get bit by something this weekend with it been warm,it always happens to mike if he gets bit anywhere he always swells up.

antibiotics and sedative antihistamine should hopefully settle it down.



i always get bit,get inflammed, then infected, usually end up in hospital when on hols.
i think it was Bev (mrs.jetskier) got bit on the neck, hope she dosnt get a swollen as me.

you spoke too soon mike bev looks like the elephant woman today her hand is as bad as yours,the one on her gob has gone down unfortunately,so she is still talking.
she saw the nurse today ,she said if it doesnt go down to go to a+e tomorrow.
it makes me wonder know that you are the only 2 to get bitten,what was going on on sat.night after i went to bed

great weekend mike cheers for it mate,really enjoyed ourselves,it has refreshed bev into what she has been missing

Bevs chin looked like my dads (double) yesterday , i wasnt too bad got bit sturday night a couple of times, but thanks to Diane & jamie they gave me some spray, which helped loads, didnt get bit again.

didnt taste too good thoe (but then again i never ended up with any midges in my mouth either )

Glad i missed the late night muppet show or should it be the rocky horror picture show:shock:

Amanda thought she was getting the flu over the weekend, and felt a bit crappy but she enjoyed it as much as everyone, well today she went to the doctors and the outcome is an infection and fluid on her lungs , she has to go back tommorow for a check up to see if her lungs sound any better if not she will be getting admitted to hospital:shock:

I hope you wasn't in casualty for 3 hours like we were last year in Cornwall Jo. Mind you we did leave Mike in the hospital while we went shopping

chris....no we wernt,we went to the new out of hours doctor service thats up at the hospital in the emergency part,very quick,only in about 10mins,poor amanda,know how she feels been there before i have,hope it gets better for her without going to hospital,
look after her wayne.

Us newbies had a lovely time, thanks Mike, also thanks to you, John and Sharon for helping putting the awning up. In fact thanks to all who came and introduced themselves to us, nice friendly bunch of bongo people,made us feel very welcome.

Shame we could not come to this one... Ady had to keep the fuel delivered and I had a filming job on. As for the sun beautiful. Burnt to a blummin crisp.. Now got the cold shivers and feeling quite icky... Filming a medieval reenactment in the middle of field and wind. did not feel it till later...

well at least we will remember the york meeting if for the the wrong reasons. i saw bevs mouth bite well before bedtime so not guilty.
kieth phoned us up today they had a close encounter going home yesterday,karen was driving when she saw a pheasant,it flew in through the drivers window,hit her on the head,than flew into the back,keith heard a thump,looked round to see karen slumped over the steering wheel, they stopped opened back door and pheasant jumped out and keeled over and died,karen was just a bit stunned and shocked at it, but both are ok.
