If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

We will have a great time - but come on - a little dry and a lot of sun would make it all the better this time round.
Is anyone planning anything sedate and relaxing for Sunday - I am thinking of a gentle stroll, a bit of looking at stuff and/or perhaps a pub/light lunch somewhere? I know lots of people have activities going on but anyone fancy the sedate life with us?

We were going to the chippy in Arnside to eat some dead animals if anyone else fancies this?

Somewhere within eaasy walking distance would be great - that way I may be able to persuade Mark we should put up the Caravanstore - it never gets to go up as we can't be bothered taking it down to drive away!

There are two pubs in the village. The Silverdale Hotel & one round the corner opposite the Post Office.
SH used to be better than it is nowdays but the other one is a fairly decent joint.

In Autumn and Winter we always use a Fiamma Zip awning. Good, dry, easy to heat. Normally we don't want to drive away as there is usually so much to see around the sites.
Hope Harry knows where the puddles collect and can point us away from them

.
Arriving later than hoped as we have to go from Melton to York to childmind before driving over. Think we will be there in time to set up before dark. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Since we got the seconds base we have been really lazy with the pull out.

Had my new Savona 200 awning delivered today in time for the weekend.

Only ordered it from the Bongo shop on Monday so hats off to Ian for sorting that out quickly.
Hope I'll be there before dark on friday to put it up!

Cheers for that!

Especially if we have to park in a giant puddle as we are the last ones to arrive!

Dont worry - there wont be any puddles on friday night. They appear on saturday morning just next to your awning door
