Well it was friendly but COLD COLD COLD.
We arrived at about 2.30pm to be greeted by Keith and Mrs Muz (aka please dont throw me down any more stairs as I have no more legs to break!). I made lunch and the boys played in the playpark.
We stopped a few hours, had a hot lunch and chatted with the few people that were actually on site. It was so cold that most people had gone out for the day and I dont blame them.
Nice to see Chell and Amie (and Tilly), The Muz family, Karen and Keith, Jetskier + 1, Bongo Louis and and Mrs BongoLouis (hope you feel a lot better once home in your own bed), AndandDen, Rooster (through a caravan window when leaving) and Snowkiter.
I think there were people tucked away in warm bongos that perhaps we missed and I am really sorry to the Waycars who we were hoping to see but couldn't stay late enough to say hi to.
Looked to be a fabulous site althougn the bongos were spread all over the place and I definitely approve of the lovely heated amenities block. I bet there will be loads of fun tonight and I look forward to seeing the photos tommorow.
Have a great night.

Made a short visit to the meet and was very impressed with the site and its position....beautiful views all around........and yes it was bitterly cold too; but the warmth of welcome from those hardy folk who made so much effort to be there to have fun, made me glow with pleasure and a little envy that I could not stay to be part of everything. My thanks to Chell for the very welcome hot coffee on my arrival, to Emma for walking Chip for me.....as usual bless her, to Jill for her comforting words, to Karen & Keith for their ongoing support, friendship and...second cup of coffee, to Mike Jo Dave [Jetskier] and everyone else[sorry name slippage here

] who came up to speak to me/gave me a hug. I cannot tell you how really lovely it was for me to be actually 'out & about' and with such warm & friendly people................THANK YOU
Hope the fancy dress evening was a blast .......and am looking forward ro seeing the pics.
Love to you all
