I think that's the thing. They trade in dreams, not after sales warranty. Unless you stay on full alert, you could as easily buy a pup as a good un. But there's some who've done fine buying from this source. Yours is a case of the latter although the implication is they paid £1k over the odds for it (personally though, I'd rather have paid over the odds for a good one than buy trouble at a bargain priceDodgey wrote:Well they are still trading Bongos. They paid a fair price for the condition and mileage and sold it on for another £1k. I found out as the new owner rang me to ask about the cambelt.
She made up a story about a Bongo Purchase falling through due to a bereavement, and then bought mine.
I can tell you that in this instance, they bought a good van, and sold a good van. Though they lied to me about being private buyers.
