yes they are still slabs and like di and jamie said. last year nearly all just parked to the edge of the slab for the awning
there were a few pitches that we have again this year that were gravel but i think that was only around 5 pitches

the rest of them are slabs

Is it too late to book for Friday and Saturday night Mike. There is no wind this weekend and the boy will be itchin to go somewhere.

go on then tony, i will let you join us but wife says you cant talk kites with me, got to leave that for bls.


so far we have a total of 25 bongos coming, i contacted the site today to check to see if we are fully booked up as i cant remember but the computers were down so i will check tomorrow. so if anyone else wants to join us then it will be fingers crossed.
for those few that have contacted me today i will catch up with you on site to pay for the pitches £36 wont be time to get to the bank etc. weather looks a bit cooler than just lately but no rain forcast but that could change knowing my reputation for yorks bash.

also looks like we will be going ahead with a jacobs join for the friday space gratefull provided by chell and ady so bring some munchies or drinks along. if anyone has some tables to put the food on that would be a help. just looked at our decorators table and wouldnt want to eat off that.
a contribution to gillians game fund would be welcome and some wrapped sweets for those who want to join in.

I've had a pm from Di and she does not have a child's rubber ring. Can anyone else help? Jetski you have small children. Do you have and can you bring a swim ring or two. You will get them back after the game.

So... Sweets wrapped, Awning and Annex from here. Will look for inflatables. We will have 2 cassette cookers also for warmy jobbies.

i just have to say that i think that everyone is a star for rallying around to get things sorted,roll on friday.
also there is a couple of newbies coming as well so more people to remember their names and some new bongoes to nosey around.lol.just everyone please bring sunshine with you and a big smile on your faces when you get to york.
