Thursday I guess anyone that turn's up does their own thing.

Friday - we will do a Jacob's Join, anyone that isn't familiar with this, those wishing to take part bring food into the communal area (marquee) and have a laugh. But doesn't matter if you don't want to, but it is usually a good crack. We have a cracking line up of characters coming to the meet to

Saturday I suggest we all do our own BBQ's in the evening

Sunday - Well I personally have made a hat and got part way done with my egg blowing lol - Anything could happen!

When is it ? Where is it ? How far is it ? Is it within walking / cycling distance ?
and how can I get out of going to it?

not walkable with all the stuff you'll have to carry back with you.

Giant car boot sale is held on Flookburgh airfield about 3 miles south of Allithwaite.

I think it is on Sunday.

No public transport available.

I'm hoping to go and get rid of a load of assorted rubbish. Hopefully I'd have space in my van to transport stuff back if you have aspending spree.

I'll be going REALLY early and getting back to Allithwaite about lunchtime.

If anyone fancies a really cheap small caravan (classic retro ABI Monza) plus a fab 700cm Dorema caravan awning with annex and inner tent I'll have it available for inspection over the weekend prior to it going on ebay. I'm open to sensible offers. A bongo would tow it no probs.

Thats super, Picking up a canoe tomorrow staying over with a mate then on my way.

would have love to come to this meet but hopefully father in law will be out of hospital by weekend so will have to look after him and do a few alterations to house,hope the weather stays lovely for you all
