We can't leave Manchester until 5.30 at the earliest so we shouldn't be too late. No days off at this end I'm afraid.

Yes all 3 of us this time - its the first family bongo outing of the year as its the first time the temp has been ok for minimc. I stayed in it alone last weekend which was good though.

i hadnt forgotten the roof just thought i,d spare you both the painful memorys -glad you put directions on i,ve completely forgotten where it is -must be the pheasant concussion i got on the way home last year.
I have sneaked "karen off pm" on the calendar at work and not been challenged yet - so hopefully we,ll be there in good time - will bring wrapped sweets and chocolate rice krispie cakes (especially for jetski) also wheetabix for Gillian - and this years luxury, If it arrives on time, a folding bbq (fake son of hibachi) if anyone wants to share space on it.

Mike - you did us proud with a great spot last year - if you can manage not too close to the lake and close-ish to the loos - you will be our hero once again.
thanks

Too right - I thought they were supposed to be trained before they started teaching our kids

Hi
We went to this site a number of years ago (10 at last) Fantastic site especially as i used to do a bit of fishing,
Just one question the hard standings were then paving slabs and you couldnt peg out your awning. You had to get a couple of heavy iron bars with hooks on them from the ground staff to secure the awning. This was ok in mild weather but you could easily lose your awning in rough weather. Are they still like this ? If they have been updated do I need rock pegs or is it best to leave the awning at home.
See you all Friday
Dave.

The hard standings were slabs last year and I imagine they are the same now. We just parked the bongo on the edge of the hardstanding and put the awning on the grass. I assume this is what most did. I don't have that problem anymore though as I don't need to peg a caravan out

Owt for any easy life
