to whom are you refferring :?: cos i reckon those youngsters staying on site may be the ones who need supervision - hob nobs and hot choccy sound like they,re really cutting it but they could get out of control whilst us oldies are away shuffling down the road. I,d hate to come back and find we,ve been chucked off site because those rowdys have been throwing their tartan slippers around and doing wheelies on their zimmers.

   no panic karena will most probably be tucked up in bed for 9 curfew after hot chocolate and hobnobs and a game of monoply if it's allowed and doesn't make too much noise that is. Don't want to be around to hear about all the ghost stories when you come back :P

I'm really looking forward to this meet and seeing you guys again :)

Hello everyone.
Whats the terrain like for cycling around Goosewood?
A few years ago we took our bikes to Isle Of Wight. We didn't know how hilly it was untill we got there. From where the campsite was it was either 1 mile down hill to the nearest pub or 1 mile uphill - whichever way we went for a pint we got knackered

Just wondering whether to bring them or not.

Hi John,

Flat as a pancake - York is well set up for cyclists, plenty of cyclepaths and places to lock them up \:D/

when in york, majority of them ride on the paths here and you get shouted at to get out of the way, just ignore em,they think thats the in thing to do.so that is why york is called safer york cos they all do that, not meant to like,

Hello everyone just thinking about the ghost walk.
Have been doing some research for our own holiday and have found that the number 40 bus runs from just around the corner at Goosewood. It runs on the hour and takes 18 mins to York and the Theatre royal stop. From there for our purposes it's only a 5 minute walk to Minster and other places.
Perhaps, locals will know better, if this might be a another alternative way of getting to York cheaply and easily than driving.
Only another 4 day's before we set off for our Yorkie trip, can't wait.
See ya'll all =D>
