bump Stops

What are bump stops?? Mine bottoms out as well with very little weight in or even just me and the kitchen in the back?
Would love to sort this let me know what you do.
Mines an R reg Bong AFT.

Do you have standard springs on yer pimper Ramsay?
Bump stops stop the rear axle from hitting the underside - a sort of cushion............

20 bags of stones is a lot of weight,the weight transfer to the rear of the vehicle would leave the front very light, hence, the peculiar handling. the steering would be more sensitive to undulations in the road, so would appear to be oversensitive (a kind of oversteer)

S.A.G.A. tour buses often carry more than 20 stones of bags 8) :lol:
