We regularly use the campsite on the eastern side of the village.

Small farm site with no hook ups and basic facilities...very cheap...serves breakfast bacon butties etc.

Can't remember its name offhand but its right beside the road..........200 yards from the village centre.

You'd be ok just turning up.

Might work out a bit of an expensive round mvous! All 35 places booked at 4 per place makes.... about 140 drinks!
  Was hoping that people would buy me a drink really as its MY birthday

Looks like I'll be OK to go :D
If it was Glastonbury I'd be in 'The Other Field'
So that's 35 in the main site and maybe 2 in the other site.
Dent is going to be so Full of Bongos!!!

Can we have a Bongo parade through the village??

You don't need to go to the "other" site. High Laning has another field, and although it's been booked out to a UK Campsites meeting, there's only about 10 of them going, and the field is absolutely huge, if a little bit muddy. It even has electric hook-ups.

Yeah but...Yeah but £13.50 per night as agaonst about £5

Mind you I'll spend more than the difference in the pub and on food.

I'll have to have a cogitate and if I do make it I won't be there before teatime on Saturday as my shop doesn't close till midday and I han't got any staff available.

Thanks for the info Ian

cheers

Ok Ian, I'll see what the score is on the day. But as I don't have ladies or children with me I'll be happy with a cheaper site.
