Hello track five and a happy Christmas to you and yours
It's just my two pence worth but I have a 95 4 wd TD and while the performance is leisurely it's adaqute but if you need a performance bus then a young t5/6 is for you .
As a general rule we don't overtake in the bus , it's just not good at it !
Having said all that I've done some " performance upgrades " thanks to rustyp on here or at the porting shed on Facebook and I must say it's made an improvement to the overall get up and go

Dont think anyones arguing that a 25yr Bongo diesel will match a modern VW diesel on poke. Its more the surprise at how acceptable it is for its vintage. And when it comes to power/£ ratio the veedubs a snail

You hint at an important point too MM. Why do some people buy a vehicle for chilling out in and then require to be able to drive it in a hurry (as i too often see t5/t6 owners doing). Thats not company i'm hankering to be in thank you
