And if you're prepared to try other brands, this Exide (for example) is on Amazon at £94.65
Exide Excell EB950 95Ah Car Battery Maintenance Free
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B006TCKNM8/ ... -BbK7WFKP1
I've bought generic ones (two in 12 years) from an online supplier, and they've done ok. Just check dimensions will fit battery tray before buying.
Now although a new battery does seem like a good idea anyway, we can't be sure its the cause. But if the problem persists we can hopefully at least eliminate poor battery as the cause! Has to be your call though.

Hi
I had some intermittent starting issues and after cleaning up all the earth points under the bonnet the van now springs into life first thing without any issues. I think there was a poor earth connection which somtimes when damp wasnt working very well.. Worth trying as free!

Funny you should mention that... The earth wire that operates the glow relay... I tested and suspected mine was as fault... It showed random readings on the meter when doing a dead continuity test, i created a temp new earth and it was all fine after that, i later re tested as i always do looking for consistency and oddly it showed correct readings and has ever since, i put it down to corrosion on the spades and am currently using the original earth for loom tidiness sake.... Might put the temp earth back in place and run her up again to see if this by some slim chance may be causing the issue...It would make sense i suppose as both the poster and myself have white smoke...ie unburnt fuel.
That sounds interesting ......and cheap ! Where is the glow plug relay earth ? , I've cleaned up the 3 spades on the relay itself , all looked very clean I must say .

4 connections hopefully on the relay

The earth point for operating the relay is (16) back on the passenger side of the engine towards the rear see below;
