Well this was my first time camping at Dent, and it’s a nice site. Weather was good too, although there were complaints of rain on the Friday but that’s what you get for camping in Cumbria.

The trouble with Dent is that it hardly ever rains!

But if it does, here's some useful tips from the Bongomaster. Firstly, when putting your awning away during a downpour, NEVER leave the front door open.

And secondly, if you do, and once it stops raining, never mind towels or buckets or mops. Why not stab your grounsheet with a long sharp knife to help the water drain away?
