we already have, we are aware of weak spots this is our second van had it 2 years and previous owner had it from import well maintained we bee very lucky, as this first time in 4 years it has needed any work or advisory in MOT. all sorted and back on road.

Apologies then. I'd inferred from your original post that you were unaware of problems and it had come as a shock to find it had failed on rust. I must have spent £1500 on welding on mine but its never failed an MOT because i inspect it myself along with my Bongo specialist and schedule the work ahead of the MOT. The problem with corrosion is the compounding effect of water and salt getting through unidentified rust holes and starting problems elsewhere, which is why i'm keen to suggest looking for it rather than waiting for an MOT tester to spot it.

we genuinely do , husband do break pads discs tyres ect springs ect if needed, my husband had an accident a few weeks ago was unable to do his normal checks s he does in general for van .

genuinly came as a shock to me, hence why i asked for advice. dont normaly wait for an MOT inspector to spot it.

Do you treat inside the sills?
Any easy one as they have bungs on the inner sill.

And my only caveat there would be to assess and weld before waxoyling to minimise fire and health risk and maximise effectiveness. Must redo mine.....once i think i'm reasonably clear of welding!
