Asked to stay on for another month.

The Mensa Brains running her company have failed to notice that the extra time has built up leave. She accepted on condition this can be carried over to April, all agreed.

Bottom line is with her 4 day week Sue will actualy work 12 days for a month's pay and take a week for Wonderwool Wales:

Weekend at the show then walking and exploring. :D

Certainly plenty to do in the area. :D

Looks like we will be taking in the wool shop and quilting emporium, walk to the donkey sanctuary, and return via here for refreshment:

If the steam railway is playing we'll give it a go, if not there's a footpath alongside which brings you nicely here:

Town history walk, museum, castle gardens ond lots more to entertain us. 8)

I agree with Bob, great site , great company, right near the river and pubs, and I too would happily go back there. We even had our fair share of sunshine just to finish off a great weekend. Once again thanks to Ian and Marriane.

Dohhh... #-o

Missed that, thanks Jilly. :D

Everything still in it so I likely just forgot it. Lovely walk to the Donkey Sanctuary, flea market in full swing and a nice look at the donkeys.

Icecream then on to here:

Red Lion looks lovely. Was the beer good? Big car park? I went for a walk along the Ridgeway on the way home.

Beer was first class, 4 real ales, they're in the Good Beer Guide.

Sunday lunches looked brilliant, very friendly, too. (Owners and locals, not the lunches).

No car park but no probs parking outside. :)
