Started up straight away, no lumpiness or rough running. Don't think it's its the battery, it's not new but it terns engin over well
Cool - that's eliminated that then. Be interesting to see if the problem stays away or returns. Is the fuel pump original / never been overhauled?

did you get good voltage when you tested it. could you not test at the plug/supply.

Am I looking at right thing? On second picture looking from back of pump. Multi plug on top following black wire down to fuel cut off valve back right hand side from that view. All injector pipes make it so difficult to access from front when fitted.

Well just done 250 miles this weekend with lots of stops and starts and no problems. Was half expecting a no start at some stage.
What was it? Could it have been a fuel blockage? Just hope it's gone for good. Thanks all for suggestions and advice.
