Is the alternator & battery ok?

Should be end of the story soon - battery delivery tomorrow!
It was so sunny this morning woke up at stupid o'clock. Emptied the dishwasher, made the sandwiches then decided to rip the alternator out of Bongo (must have been a sight in my suit with blue gloves on!) and get it to a test & repair place for 8am and back in work for 9 with 5 mins to spare! They have had it on test, got it really hot, tested again. No fault found so no charge.

Happy that it removes all uncertainty for Scotland without unnecessary cost.

And an alternator repair place now in my good books!
