Fairly sure it is not on local. Will check today as I am having a bit of a day out in the Bongo.

Other than that, and assuming the receiver is well earthed, I would be looking at the aerial and cable first as its cheaper than replacing a possibly perfectly good receiver.

I think you have to download the app on a mobile to or sign up, but it's no hassle, yhere is tons of cheap stuff.
