Hi Elze
They usually list both models for a Bongo....I had no trouble from them regarding contact?
As you note, they also do compressors....I must admit to being sorely tempted to get one with a cylinder....I see a set of Nathan Air-Chimes winking at me!
Cheers

I agree a inline compressor would be a desirable must have but it will have to stay that way. I have a Halfords 12v cigar lighter tyre pump with a gauge which will have to suffice! I notice they are £19 quid cheaper than the one I could not purchase from if you know what I mean?

I have been out and about so now I am back I will give them a call.

Cheers

Hi
I have a couple of compressors like that (fag-lighter plug-ins)...they'll have to do for the moment
Yes...keep trying, as they were very helpful when I got hold of them!

These are the spring assistors to use: http://air-lift.co.uk/product.php?unique_id=341

You'll need a pair of spring compressors to get the springs out and then spread the coils to slide the bags in. I've got LPG, a rear conversion and sometimes fit a Thule Backup box on the towbar and they help give it a bit of a boost.

Ideally you'd have towbar fitted before the LPG tank otherwise it may now have to be moved / removed and refitted to squeeze the towbar in.

Well Simon,

I purchased the shocks from that link you gave me early last night. surprised when they arrived this afternoon how's that for service? Also when I opened the box as well as shock absorbers there was an air filter, fuel filter and oil filter which I can only imagine were freebies or I got the wrong parcel :D :D

who knows?

Thanks again for the info I am well chuffed.

Also spoke to the LPG people yesterday who took a look at the Bongo and declared that the tow bar is not a problem and can be fitted to the rear transom with no alterations at all to LPG system. Result!

No that's correct: you get a set of free filters as standard. As I've got plenty of filters already I asked them if they could knock a few quid off as I didn't need them but the response was no, so I've got some bits to sell at some point :)

Ah-ha! now I understand. Not many give freebies these days so it's a nice gesture but as you say I don't need them either. Just had my full service last month

Anyone want any filters
