I back Mikeonb4c's comments...PLUS, I've quite a number of Haydn's products, and tested some...all good kit, and for the price of an extraneous beep, my LCA has saved my system twice, when the heater matrices failed!...one on the road, and one outside my house!
When they go off, you REALLY hear them, and when I had to stop, I was able to do so in 110 yards (measured)...Bongos really brake well!
The self-testing is perfect every time, and just a little longer in winter when we go below 3 or 4 degrees Celcius
The Jeep has a standard LCA, or i'd have fitted one to that as well, as I'm very impressed!

I'm running Haydn LCA using Halfords longlife red coolant at a very strong mix (approx 75:25) and not had any issues requiring screw to be cleaned.

Surely this topic must be locked now as people have given feedback on here of a suppliers products and service?

I think a little bit of leeway is allowed here because this system was brought to the market in this country with a great deal of help from club members, much r&d was carried out by said members before it was deemed good enough to be fitted to our Bongos. Since then it has been developed/improved, again with the help and feedback of club members....
Some years ago there was a nasty and sustained attack by a very few club members on myself and the alarm, this attack was thankfully fought off by the vast majority of members and the attackers have long since left the sceane. All this did was prove there is no such thing as bad publicity in business.

Totally agree.... The Goose and Gander comes to mind.

So can we recommend a product we find on ebay??? Or are we totally hamstrung?

Exactly seems some things are ok and some not ??

I think taking about products seems to be fine but not about suppliers themselves.

On topic, my LCA started giving spurious squawks after starting up after 3 years of faultless service. Removed the screws from the tank, which had a red ish coating. Scrubbed them with a wire brush and all perfect again now.

Saved my engine many times as I have a slow coolant loss somewhere.
