That statue of Gaudi looks like paw broon from the newspaper cartoons.

Cracking photos muz family as always.
:D

Will have to look through them again to create my Spanish googlemaps but got some nice additions to France and found a great looking website too!!

Our dream is to go round Europe in our bongo but we want to spend two weeks in each country. I know we won't get to properly explore each place in depth but it seems to be our best plan. First up is France... don't want to stretch too far from home (well, after we have been through the UK of course, shouldn't run before we can walk).

Brilliant photos and inspirational trip as ever.

We had an enjoyable trip on MV Bretagne this summer, lovely old ferry not sure about that one back from Spain though

The Norman Asturias is an old Stena boat geared more for freight (as you can see by the lack of cars on the deck) than holiday-makers. It's bigger than the Bretagne, but with only a quarter of the passengers and not many cabins but, after the tour we'd done, we just wanted to get our heads down and weren't worried about the comparative lack of facilities - which we didn't use on the Bretagne either.

The cabins on the Norman Asturias were slightly bigger we thought, a bit wider, which was handy with three salad-dodgers sharing.

And for the price - we'll use LD Lines again for sure :D

According to the press, the LD boat is the biggest they've ever had in Poole so bigger than any of the BF boats to call there. Deceptive from the photos

I have always been very jealous of all your tours, but this is the best ever and makes me want to follow in your footsteps. :D

Thanks for all the comments guys & girls. I've tweaked the report to correct a few typos and also slipped a few extra pics in, somehow I thought it was a bit light on photo content

You may have noticed in the pics that I'd taken part of the bike rack off, the heavy hinged bit as we were trying to travel light. Only when we unpacked back at Team Muz HeadQuarters did I realise we'd accumulated probably more beer, wine, cheese & cured meat than when we specifically go to France for that purpose....
