there is a coiled ribbon cable going onto a multi conector

I fitted an extra horn on mine and it is very easy to wire a completely independent tooter

Honking your awning will draw attention for the wrong reason.

Well I must admit.. it has been hard.. I have kept a stiff.. upper lip and tried not ..to rise to the occasion .. with the double entendres, tried to toggle mine up and down, waggled it round and round even gave the button a bashing. Went off in the end, nice to know my horn works as well as ever now. Happy motoring. ( I really am truly sorry but couldn't resist).

You could always follow Colins lead

I have just been given a big red one by a friend at work.
Its very impressive, about 10 inches long.
One problem. No instructions how to fit it.
Do I just wire it to the existing horn wires, or do I need a relay?
Its an air horn, I think. It has a metal cylinder then the long red horn.

Dave,
I've got a big red one as well!
Is it like this

.
If so and you want details and pics of fixing. e-mail me. DO NOT connect it to existing horn wiring. 1. it would need a relay 2. it is not legal. (so you need a legal horn for MOT and normal use.)
They make a brilliant noise though

hi if horn is not working and relay is try looking under drivers side front wheel arch trace wire from horn some times there is a scotch block connecter added, try a new terminal connecter and it will work?
