Bongo Fury

so don't want to tempt fate but I think we have finally cracked the damned noise!! after replacing cv & wheel bearing (both needed doing anyway) stripping caliper , replacing brake flexi , changing caliper and still having the same symptom (hub getting hot and making a weird creaking noise) , as a last resort we replaced the discs and pads (which showed no undue signs of wear/issues) , we finally have a quiet bongo!! I have never had such an odd one to get to the bottom of , neither have the guys at the garage with a lot of years experience between them. still not sure what the issue was but at least it seems to be cured. a trip abroad (near enough...devon!) tomorrow will be the proper test.

300 mile trip later , can only assume that , for whatever reason , it was the pads &/or disc that were causing the weird noises. happy days!!
