You need to be a member, worth it anyway if you are not, I rung up and booked via the Fury club.

Just noticed where you live, isn't that a coincidence. Meet up for a pint sometime and talk Bongos.

Actually you don't but the campsite may be full if you contact them directly. However this could cost you more as the club usually gets group rates for these meets. Then there is the problem that you could be given a pitch a million miles away from the rest of us. With the cost of a years club subs being around ΒΌ of the cost of a pitch for one meet you must be really tight if you don't join.

To people who want to attend the meet without a Bongo or with a Bongo but not a club member you can add a third category, club members with motorhomes. That's me as I sold my Bongo 14 months ago on my other half's orders. But then after 7 years of Bongo ownership I have become a bit like a piece of the furniture so Ian still lets me tag along.

Just remember to bring a supply of cans of beer or lager with you for the evenings entertainment. With this campsite just a ten minutes walk from the village high street there is a choice of two or three pubs if everyone would like a change.

It would be quite good to visit a couple of local boozers while we are there, any good places to eat in the village also.

I did wave at another last week when I was heading down towards Blaydon, there are a few locally, a lad at the canoe club has one and my mate has a little place at Stocksfield called the Bongo Barn where he fixes a few and sells a few inc some parts if you ever need anything. Just send a message if you wanna meet up. You should get up to the Scottish bash, I'm going up with my mate, leaving the wife and kids home for this one.
Regards
Stu

You should have a nice trip to Lauder. I went over Carter Bar both ways last week on my way to Norwich and back in my motorhome. Last years dreadful mass of potholes on the Northumberland have now been filled in but they do leave a bumpy ride in places. No problems on the Scottish side which has a lovely road, unfortunately this is spoilt for some people by the roads saturation with speed cameras. Watch out if you are in the habit of driving fast.
