Exactly. It's partly tax and partly greed on the part of the supermarkets I think.

The Bordeaux I got was marked up at €1.79 a bottle but the checkout operative failed to spot some of the cases in the trolley. Which I only noticed after I inspected the receipt in England :^o :D

We had the horse-burgers last night for tea. Merguez sausages tonight!

That photo was taken on my phone, not by me obviously, can't remember who took it, it's all a bit of a blur, just like the photo :lol:

We would have done, but Mrs Muz always has the Christmas sprouts on the go at Easter, so by December they're nice & tender :twisted:
