Bongo Fury

Hi Supreme Being I am in Glastonbury, so nowhere near Huntington. I am going to take the information collected here to the garage. I am a doityourselfer but only for shelves etc not cars, an elderly female I would tackle a spark plug but nothing else!!!! Thank you all so much for your help. Another garage did say but they must put it right because they have given your vehicle back to you in a worse condition than when you took it to them. Next stop Insurance legal Dept.

Dependent on how much these ham-fisted "mechanics" have been broken off, will depend how to remove the broken plugs.... if they have broken the tops of and rounded off the flats that the the socket grips onto...which is probably what they have done then sometimes a Bolt extractor can help.
I use the excellent Irwin brand ones as I often "ring" off old nuts or bolts due to age and corrosion.
I would, if possible get another garage/bongo owner to take a look see at to what damage has been done to the remaining glow plugs.
