This is what I'm hoping to do, my dad's going to help meter which are the guilty cables drawing the power and run them through a switch. Will post when we get it done. Should be a nice simple solution if I remember to flick the switch!rapiddescent wrote:I bought one of those all-singing all dancing units as well - but i put a wee round rocker switch on the sidewall of the little compartment under the radio slot so every time i leave the bongo i just kill all power to the radio. i did this to stop the LB draining whilst stationary.
Also, bear in mind that re-charging the LB (e.g. through a willington split relay) will cost you £££ in diesel each time you run. So best not to let it drain flat.
