This is the FSS..these are readily available from any good motor factor.

Personally I would remove the filter and fill it with diesel, and recheck the seals if this does not work.

Got the stop out of pump body, is the plunger supposed to come away from the solenoid?

The power cable snapped of clean so i definitely need a new one.

I suppose the AA patrolman was right.

Hi the plunger does come away from the solenoid, the power cable is not part of the solenoid you need to repair it,unless it is the solenoid terminal that has come adrift.

Cheers.

This maybe an off the mark guess....?

But one of either the first red 10amp fuse Cabin lights radio memory circuit.) Or the blue 15amp fuse directly below it? (Engine Management System.) in the cab fusebox will stop the fuel getting through if blown or pulled out.... I think??!! :) I'm pretty sure its the first red fuse... Had a scare with starting once when doing some wiring work & forgot to put the fuse back in....

Do your cabin/dome lights work??

Just checked fuses all seem ok, all cabin lights working (fuse no1 10 amp)
Engine management ( fuse no 9 15 amp)
Will sleep on it and have another go tomorrow.

Thanks for your suggestion =D>

OK, scrub my last comment out.... Not my favourite choice for an immobilizer cut off... They are usually on the starter motor..

Gotta be something simple... Have you given a bit of "gas" on the accelerator while starting?? Normally no need... (At least on mine.)

Do you know anyone with a pela pump, when I changed my filter I put everything back together left the pipe to the diesel pump off and used the pela to suck fuel through the filter and into the pump. Started first time. Worth a try if someone who has one is near, whereabouts are you?

Yes I have given it some gas but still no start.

No I have not got a pela pump but hope to get it going in the morning.

if you've drained the pump and lines reckon its gonna start with a 10 second turn of the key it would be the first time i've ever heard of it, try winding it over for more like 30 seconds continuously and as ade suggested early on, crack a few lines open.

Ok i surrender

This Bongo dont want to start.

Have put new filter on filled with diesel, cleaned the small wire mesh strainer on the fuel input.

Fully charged battery but this baby dont want to go.

And it all started with me changing the two o rings on the pump to cure a miniscule leak.

Dont know what the next step is to take.

All ideas gratefully received.
