Not too sure about the 2 litre, but I bleed my V6 using the same as I did for previous diesel. If it has a bleed pipe, then it's probably there to be used.

No its not the same, the 2l petrol doesn't have the bleed tube, it feeds directly back into the tank, and seemingly doesn't have the same problems as the Diesel does, even the 2.5l petrol doesn't seem to suffer as badly as the diesel.

So on the 2 litre is it just a matter of topping up the header tank and air locks aren't a problem?
