Yep I would go with that...... I tend to go for Allied Nippon brand..... who make the pads for Mazda,Toyota,Nissan,Lexus,Mitsubushi & Brembo among others..... Normally I dress up discs it they are okay that is..... a decent clean up of all the brake components blow out with the air line & re-grease on assembly on the parts that require it and there you go...... an extra 10 mins each side....attention to detail.... :wink:
A man after my own. Its a rust build-up, not a grinding issue. Cleaned up all components, wire brushed off loose rust etc., blew off with airline and lightly regreased with coppaslip as educated to do from advice on here. Just lack the means to restore the rusted section of discs, but its only a minor proportion, and brakes work fine.

good on you Mike..... ironic I was doing similar at a long term customers property on his Classic..... he was looking back at the old days and commented how I have always "gone the extra" for him, making sure his vehicles are just so..... then said... I remember when you were featured in Practical Classics....in 1986... :oops: :oops:
