Great write up Helen!
Hope you don't mind a little input from me..?!!
Be careful when removing the window switch with the lever technique. There is a plastic jutting out bit/clip on the front that has a tendency to break..!
Passenger switch back shown here.

If after removing all the door card screws & popping the fasteners along the bottom pulling the door card out slightly, you reach your hand up between the back of the door card & the sheet plastic membrane, follow the contour till you get to the switch loom & find the metal clip at the back of the switch.. Simply press the metal clip & pop the switch out!!
This will/should avoid any potential disappointment breaking the plastic clip on the front..
